DM3, led by Dom Martini, formerly singer/guitarist/songwriter with The Stems, is one of the finest power pop bands Australia has produced. West of Anywhere contains a selection of excellent material from across DM3's releases. The tracks "One Times, Two Times Devastated", "Take it All", "Blue Thing" and "Fall to Bits" are taken from 1993's One Time Two Times Three Red Light album. Tracks "Please Don't Lie", Something Heavy", "Speed Freak" and "Can't Get What You Want" are from the 1996 Road To Rome album. "Give it Up" is from 1998's Rippled Soul, and "Hold On" is taken from Garage Sale Vol. 1 released 1997.
